The candidate is expected to create web applications with a simple user interface and solid code that impacts the lives of millions of users. The role will be dynamic and varied, requiring a versatile self-starter willing to dive into multiple initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity to implement code that may run in production at scale, work with a talented team to rapidly roll out changes and measure their impact, and receive mentorship and guidance.****Responsibilities***** Responsible for creating web application features.* Develop a scalable, high performance and maintainable code.* Work with web technologies built on Web, database, and caching technologies.* Tune the performance for the web application.****6-Month Accomplishments***** Get familiar with the existing web architecture and code base.* Should be able to independently drive the feature development.* Have a good collaboration within the team. Also, with other teams like Product, Design, QA, devOps etc* Should participate in technical discussions and be able to evaluate the design and architecture of the solution to the problems.****12+ Month Accomplishments***** Come up with ideas/changes to improve the application both from performance and scalability perspective.* Establish yourself as technical lead for the web team.****Desired Skills***** 8 years software development experience, including at least 3 years in building easy to use, responsive web applications* Experience in any of the following is highly desirable - Node, Vue, React, Angular, Ruby on Rails, NoSQL technologies (i.e. MongoDB), AWS.* Skills in building web development stack.* Understanding and designing RESTful web services.* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field**Salary Range:**$167,200.00 - $237,300.00 AnnualPoshmark is a leading fashion resale marketplace powered by a vibrant, highly engaged community of buyers and sellers and real-time social experiences.
