Asbestos Abatement Technician

**Join Our Team as an Asbestos Abatement Technician - First Shift!** We are looking for Asbestos Abatement Technicians - for a direct placement opportunity - no contract to hire. **What You'll Do** + Perform asbestos abatement and removal in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations + Operate specialized tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner + Set up and maintain containment areas to prevent contamination + Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to high standards **What We're Looking For** + Valid asbestos certification (state-specific) is a plus + Experience in building trades, demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, construction, asbestos, lead or mold remediation is preferred + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety + Ability to work in physically demanding environments + Team player with a strong work ethic + Previous experience in environmental remediation or hazardous materials handling is a plus **Pay:** + $20 - $22.00 (Depending on experience) **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr. company benefits sent via email to Dlist **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Thousand Oaks,CA. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Aug 1, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
