Who We're Looking For:

Are a driven Sr Software Engineer professional who has demonstrated success as a highly valued business partner, preferably in a SaaS subscription-based e-commerce business. You have a proven track record of achieving strategic outcomes.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to PeopleConnect's continued growth and success. This role will work closely with cross-functional business and leadership and will use its unique vantage point to challenge business assumptions and optimize the balance between cost, speed and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated the following abilities: you influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. You collaborate with various business units across the organization with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You quickly learn operations to understand economics and key financial drivers, and gain proficiency with PeopleConnect data systems to conduct efficient analyses while exercising controllership.

What You'll Do (but not limited to) :

• Build and maintain an ecosystem of high-volume services and APIs that aggregate data from both internal and external data sources.
• Facilitate the integration of new providers within our APIs, ensuring their data is ingested and processes smoothly.
• Participate actively in the design and creation phases of new systems, working within existing architects where appropriate.
• Leverage open source technologies and Google Cloud Platform services to efficiently resolve entities and return data from vast sets of disparate data types.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring smooth integration of new data providers and handling any changes in data formats.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software development methodologies.
• Configure and monitor production systems, ensure that logs and metrics remain useful for debugging, track performance, and detect issues.
• Build features, investigate and fix bugs, write routine-complex tests.
• Develop solutions using standards and best practices of the application's language. Write code that implements a design that is testable, extensible, efficient and maintainable.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced programming skills in TypeScript on Node.js.
• Experience writing Golang is not required but highly desirable.
• Experience working with large amounts of data.
• Experience working with and writing REST APIs.
• Proficiency with various databases (preferably PostgreSQL, BigTable) and a strong understanding of database performance optimization.
• Some experience using data stores/warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redis is highly desirable.
• Experience using Docker in both development and production.
• Solid experience with cloud computing, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid experience with git.
• Some experience using Kubernetes and Terraform is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning is not required but especially desirable.
• Strong ability to develop unique, outside-the-box solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and highly collaborative within their team, other teams and cross-functionally.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional work ethic, driven, self-motivated, highly accountable with strong initiative and passion.
• Excited to learn new things and share knowledge and best practices with others.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 to 7 years directly related software development experience is preferred.

Salary Range: This position is exempt (salaried). Salary Range: Min: $135,200 Mid: $149,800 Max: $165,100

The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate.
