Senior Accountant

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea , OnDemandChina , OnDemandViet , and Amasian TV . It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily and monthly accounting operations. You will prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning, improving and innovating accounting procedures with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable and AR allowance records.
• Handle monthly billing and collections, including preparation and sending of invoices.
• Perform month-end closing tasks, including accrued expenses, notes payable roll forward, withholding tax, and payroll reconciliation.
• Prepare borrowing base reports and support treasury operations such as cash forecasting and daily bank reconciliations.
• Support the Accounting Manager with general ledger closing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in annual audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly royalty and revenue share reports for content providers.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is required.
• CPA is preferred, not required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under tight schedules.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and NetSuite proficiency; ERP experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in Korean is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite (in-office) Monday through Thursday.

ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from ($70,000 to $90,000). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
