Mobile App Developer (React Native)

Location: 100% Remote (PST Hours)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Start: ASAP
Compensation: $75-100/hr W2

This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

We're partnering with a globally recognized leader in live entertainment and ticketing to bring on a Mobile App Developer to support and evolve their large-scale consumer-facing mobile application.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team working on a high-traffic app used across North America and expanding into Europe.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build new features while maintaining and enhancing an established React Native application

• Debug and resolve issues within a mature (5 year) codebase

• Upgrade and modernize components (currently on React Native .79)

• Integrate and work with third-party SDKs, including ticketing platform SDKs

• Consume and build around RESTful APIs (highly data-driven environment)

• Support internationalization efforts as the app expands globally

• Deploy updates to both iOS and Android app stores

• Collaborate closely with a small team (this will be the 3rd engineer) via Slack and Zoom

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5 years of mobile development experience

• Strong expertise in React Native

• Heavy iOS experience (approximately 75% iOS / 25% Android)

• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs

• Experience working within existing, large codebases (not just greenfield builds)

• Experience integrating SDKs and working with NPM libraries

• Experience deploying to both the Apple App Store and Google Play

• Background working on collaborative engineering teams in enterprise environments

Ideal Background

• Experience supporting high-traffic consumer apps (media, streaming, entertainment, ticketing, etc.)

• Comfortable in fast-paced, large-scale environments

• Experience maintaining and evolving long-term products (not just short-term builds)

Nice to Have

• Google Analytics, mParticle, or Firebase experience

• Expo experience

• Experience with internationalization / localization (including Latin-based languages)
