Field Engineer I

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support our field operations and project management teams. This position plays a key role in coordinating field activities, tracking production, maintaining documentation, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with daily field operation oversight
• Track quantities, production, and project progress
• Support and coordinate Timecard Management
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
• Support scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with new jobsite setup and documentation
• Assist in job site safety and ensure compliance with company policies
• Coordinate equipment and materials with field and office teams
• Participate in site walks and pre-construction planning activities
• Professionally represent the company at all times while in the field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
• HCSS knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment and stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with field crews, project managers, and office staff
