Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract
Join our travel therapy team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Live Oak, CA at a skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress to support safe discharge and improved function. This role is appropriate for clinicians who value applied patient care and reliable clinical practice in a long-term care setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and management, cognitive-communication disorders, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Weekly workweek: 36 hours.
- Cancellation notice required: 14 days.
