Veterinary Technician

Experienced Veterinary Technician (Full-Time).

Lone Tree Veterinary Clinic & Urgent Care is seeking an experienced full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who is confident supporting the attending DVM in both routine and urgent care settings. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate patient care.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery and perform surgical prep duties.
• Monitor anesthesia before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures.
• Take and process diagnostic radiographs (x-rays).
• Collect laboratory samples and run in-house diagnostics.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes.
• Educate clients on post-operative care, medications, and preventative care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area.

Qualifications:

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting.
• Experience with dental procedures and radiology preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and professional approach to patient and client care.
• Veterinary Technician certification/licensure preferred but not required depending on experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to support clinic needs and varying hours as needed.

Compensation: Pay range: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
Schedule:

• Full-time position only.
• Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including varying shifts/hours based on clinic needs.
