Excellent opportunity to join the Operations Finance Team to support inventory revaluation, inventory forecasting and reporting. In addition, you will build business acumen on Qualcomm's products and direct procurement. This role provides the opportunity to interact with the sourcing and supply chain teams to accurately account for inventory purchases and forecast accurately. Applicant will support month end close, including preparing, reviewing and analyzing journal entries. In addition the applicant will cross collaborate within the operations finance team to assist in monthly actual vs forecast explanations. Where needed, this role will support product cost accounting, SOX controls, and will build working relationships with the accounting team in Hyderabad.

**Position requires to be onsite in San Diego full time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, or related field.

• 4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works independently with minimal supervision.

• Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.

• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

• Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.

• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$79,200.00 - $118,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
