• Admissions: 2 (Pediatric admissions on a case-by-case basis)
• Rounding included: Well baby rounding
• % of Practice: 100% Pediatrics, 100% Medicine
• Procedures:
-Needle Pneumothorax Decompression
-EKG Interpretation
-Intubation - Newborn, pediatrics
-Central line placements
-UVC placement
-Deliveries - High risk
• Responsibilities:
-Neonatal resuscitation
-NICU Coverage at night
-ED consults
• Beds in the Dept: 8
• NICU Level: I & II
• EMR: Epic
• Other Info: Support environment for new graduates, Strong Neonatology support
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active CA license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• CA DEA NRP certification
• BLS, ACLS and PALS
