Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll support our Test Engineering department by setting up, running, and documenting a wide variety of electrical, environmental, and mechanical tests on electrical connectors and components. You’ll help ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Schedule: M-F 6:00AM -2:30PM

Pay rate: $18-$24 / HR

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate electrical test equipment to perform tests such as Dielectric Withstanding Voltage , Insulation Resistance , and Contact Resistance .
• Prepare and monitor environmental test chambers for tests including Thermal Shock , Heat Quench , and Vacuum Bake .
• Conduct mechanical tests such as connector mating/unmating torque, contact engagement, separation, and durability testing.
• Read and interpret technical specifications and test procedures accurately.
• Record, organize, and report test data clearly and precisely.
• Assist with qualification and production testing for various projects.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
• Assemble and maintain test fixtures with guidance from test engineers

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or coursework preferred).
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience using test equipment and tools (preferred).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• General computer proficiency , including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
