ABOUT US:

At City Rise, we provide high-quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, setting up and monitoring Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents. We serve the needs of varied industries and are focused on maintaining a safe work environment for the construction crew, our employees, and the public. Our focus is Safety, so our customers can focus on their jobs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an individual who can work independently is detail-oriented and oversees the GL entries. This position will work cross-functionally with all departments and enhance day-to-day operations within the department.

POSITION DUTIES:

· General Ledger

· Month End closing and account reconciliations for five separate entities

· Intercompany reconciliations

· Manual Accounts Receivable and Customer rebate accruals

· Prepaid Expenses

· Fixed Assets

· Accrued Liabilities

· Insurance

· Sales & Use Tax

· Business Licenses

· Personal Property Taxes

· Prepare monthly P&L and other reporting as assigned

· Assistance with Audits (financial statements, Sales & Use Tax, insurance, customer, union, and others).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

· Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, finance, and payroll experience.

· Experience in the construction industry or professional services industry is desired.

· Impeccable character and honesty.

· Business-minded and customer-focused.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong analytical and organizational skills. Able to prioritize and get tasks done.

· Self-motivated and goal-oriented. Proven ability to establish goals and meet them. Someone who thinks about what is needed for the future, not just reacts to today.

· Ability to work closely with and inspire trust from the management and peers.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· K nowledge of Sage/Intacct or similar software

· Microsoft 365 Suite (excel, word, outlook)

· Detailed oriented and ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

· Sit for prolonged periods

· Use hands to operate, handle, or feel office equipment; and reach with hands and arms
