About the Role

As Production Manager, you will serve as the operational leader responsible for overseeing production and production-support teams while driving improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

This role works closely with company ownership to modernize operations, implement structured production systems, and build a high-performing manufacturing organization during a critical phase of growth and operational enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production and production-support teams across the manufacturing operation

• Develop and maintain a high-performing shop floor culture focused on accountability and problem solving

• Design and maintain an effective shop-floor supervisory structure

• Manage staffing levels, employee performance standards, and workforce development

• Implement operational data systems integrating ERP, manufacturing, quality, and equipment data

• Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall performance

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives driven by operational data and metrics

• Oversee maintenance and sustainment of production equipment and facilities

• Coordinate with engineering teams to transition prototype designs into scalable production

• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and customers to resolve production issues as needed

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience in production management, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or operations leadership

• Hands-on shop-floor experience in a manufacturing setting

• Strong leadership and team development capabilities

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Experience implementing structured operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

• Experience in structured manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with ISO-style quality systems or regulated manufacturing environments

• Exposure to sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, or similar fabrication processes
