Office Clerical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and organized Office Clerical Support team member to assist with administrative tasks in our fast-paced moving and junk hauling company. This position plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, supporting payroll and billing, communicating with customers and leads, and maintaining a clean, efficient office environment. Position is part time working 4-5 days a week 12-16 hours per week. Days and times are flexible and can be discussed
Pay is $17 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing , including timecard verification and data entry
- Provide billing support , such as creating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances
- Call and follow up with customers and potential job leads in a professional, courteous manner
- Help maintain and organize job scheduling systems and customer records
- Keep the office clean, stocked, and organized , including common areas, restroom, warehouse, desks, and filing systems
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages with prompt, friendly responses
- Assist with general office tasks , such as scanning, filing, copying, and supply ordering
- Support team communication between field crews and office staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by management like field visits.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in office administration or clerical support preferred but not required
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Must be reliable and punctual
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional interaction with field crew members during field visits
- Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere
