Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator
Grover Landscape Services is hiring a part time (~25 hours per week) Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to support our Purchasing Manager and ensure our teams across Landscape, Maintenance, Pest Management, Nursery, Tree Service, and Renovation have the materials they need to operate efficiently.
This position is hands-on, detail-oriented, and essential to keeping the company’s supply flow running smoothly. You will execute the day-to-day purchasing, inventory, receiving, documentation, and restocking tasks, while the Purchasing Manager provides direction and final approvals.
This job is ideal for someone who enjoys organized systems and light physical work.

- Experience in purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or supply management (preferred but not required if you have strong aptitude).
- Comfortable working with vendors, spreadsheets, and documentation.

- Willing and able to move, lift, and stock materials on a regular basis.
What You’ll Do:
Purchasing Support
- Track low inventory and initiate purchase requests for approved items.
- Source pricing, compare vendors, and coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain the approved product list and follow purchasing standards.
- Assist the Purchasing Manager with vendor quotes, price checks, and supplier communication.
Inventory Control
- Maintain stocks of various tools, supplies, materials and PPE.
- Perform quarterly inventory counts and ongoing cycle checks.
- Log material usage, validate and code invoices, and update ERP/spreadsheets.
- Restock inventory and coordinate material dispersement with department staff.
Garments & PPE
- Purchase, size, fold, and distribute company uniform garments and PPE.
- Track issued items and support seasonal changeovers (winter/summer).
- Maintain PPE stations including gloves, masks (bagging), glasses, and earplugs.
- Restock and maintain PPE and small tools in the vending machine.
Vendor & Facility Coordination
- Assist with coordinating vendor services such as HVAC, pest control, propane, septic, vehicle washes, and uniform services.
- Schedule service visits and track recurring maintenance needs.
- Ensure invoices arrive correctly and are coded to the appropriate GL/job.
Administrative & Compliance
- Maintain chemical/pesticide logs and monthly fertilizer/seed deductions.
- Keep purchasing documentation, approvals, and coding organized and accurate.
- Update reorder points, usage logs, and inventory reports for the Purchasing Manager.
Site & Department Support
- Provide new-hire gear (PPE, garments, supplies).
- Respond to tool, PPE, and supply requests from departments.
- Maintain shared supply areas and stock janitorial supplies as needed.
