Job Summary
We are a growing, family-friendly CPA firm located in the Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa area in search of an assisting to the owner/Front Office Concierge to join our team.
The primary responsibility for this role is to keep our business running smoothly. The Concierge is the face of the company and the first point of contact for our clients. This is a customer facing position and providing excellent customer service is a critical part of this position. Candidates are expected to present a pleasant and professional impression to all guests. Be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
We are considering candidates for full-time work and have the ability to be somewhat flexible in regard to working days and hours. This is an on-site position. We will not be considering remote work for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
The candidate will answer telephones, greet clients and visitors, transmit telephone and other messages, and present a professional image of the firm to callers and visitors. The role requires attention to detail and efficiency. Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls.
- Deliver incoming calls, e-faxes, and email messages accurately and promptly.
- Scan and return client related documents.
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and cleanliness.
- Assist in processing and completing client tax projects.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in an Administrative/Receptionist or related role.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or college course-work is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a busy and quickly changing fast paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
- Candidate must be able to communicate professionally both in person and in writing.
- The applicant must possess strong organizational skills and have a positive, problem-solving attitude and be able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with desktop computing platforms (PC) and applications (MS Office Suite) Professional appearance.
- Must have experience with Quickbooks.
- Prior background/interest in accounting based on school or work experience helpful.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
