Hard Money Mortgage Processor - Remote | WFH

We are looking for a Loan Account Coordinator to join our dynamic commercial loan processing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional service to clients, external partners, and internal teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely processing of loans. Your attention to detail and excellent customer service skills will be essential as you work to gather information, address questions, and handle any last-minute changes to successfully move the file through to funding.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners to retain existing business and attract new opportunities.
Enter new loan applications into the loan origination system and prepare necessary documents such as Estimated Settlement Statements and Loan Offer Letters (LOIs).
Review and organize all application information to ensure qualifications are met.
Order and secure required third-party documents (e.g., title, credit reports, appraisals) for loan files.
Serve as a liaison between clients, internal staff, brokers, title companies, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, provide status updates, and gather any required documentation.
Manage a loan pipeline of 20-25 loans, resolving any issues or conditions quickly and efficiently as the file moves through the process.
Review mortgage loan files to ensure they comply with investor guidelines, submitting files outside of these guidelines to the Credit Committee for approval.
Ensure all loan files submitted to underwriting are complete and accurate, including conducting pre-underwriting assessments on loan structure, terms, borrower experience, and risk evaluation.
Handle related duties and special projects as needed.

Work Environment

This role is primarily hybrid, with the option to work from the office in Newport Beach or Thousand Oaks. Remote opportunities are also available for those not located near either office.

Compensation

Base pay range: $22-$30 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.
