As a **Security Officer - Exterior Patrol** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. **Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour**

Tue11:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Wed11:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Thur11:00 AM - 07:30 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.

+ Document daily activities, observations, and/or incident details in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Supervisory experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
