Description

SAIC is seeking a Executive Assistant on the Horizon contract, based in El Segundo, CA . This position supports the Acquisition Delta for Space Warfighting within the Space Systems Command's Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power Program Executive Office. Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting a executive-level office that manages multiple weapon systems program offices with over several hundred personnel. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (program managers, other administrative support staff, executive staff, and external offices, etc).

The Exciting Work You'll Be Doing:

• Provide general administrative, clerical, and/or secretarial support
• Perform routine and non-routine tasks including coordinating office/program inspections, maintaining calendars, and electronic file management
• Responsible for scheduling and arranging meetings, researching and securing requested information, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies
• Transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, manage customer travel, and other office administrative duties as required
• Backfilling other support staff positions, requiring knowledge of those positions tasks, responsibilities

Qualifications

This is you:

• Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience or a Masters and 7 years of relevant experience with:
  • Knowledge in specialized office management and executive assistance functions
  • Experience must include proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and other collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience must include working for/with high-grade/executive level customers
• Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)
• Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a U.S. Government program office
• Experience working within the National Security Space community

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
