In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of California-based commercial accounts, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and solutions that meet their needs. You’ll work closely with Producers and Account Executives to renew policies, secure new business, and provide proactive risk management advice. By building strong relationships with clients and coordinating resources, you’ll help protect their businesses and support their growth. Your work will directly contribute to client satisfaction, retention, and the success of our team.
How you'll make an impact- Delivers high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day account management of California market accounts that vary in size and have relatively simple to moderately complex needs.
- Contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Successfully and profitably manages an assigned group of accounts.
- Builds and solidifies relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing care.
- In partnership with the Producer and Account Executive, takes a leadership role in the renewal process, ensuring that the best possible solution is delivered to the client in a high-quality & timely manner.
- Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and lines of coverage.
- Cultivates relationships with the buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers.
- Coordinates appropriate resources to address the client's risk management needs.
- Performs adhoc duties as assigned.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
- A high school diploma/GED and 3+ years of client service experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
- An active California Property and Casualty license.
- Experience in insurance and managing California client and carrier relationships
- Proficiency in AMS360 and Microsoft Office tools.
- The ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and engage in consultative discussions.
- A knack for balancing multiple priorities and working independently.
