Job Details We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our expanding Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience who has worked on venture financings and enjoys advising growth-stage companies and investors. Associates in this group take on meaningful responsibility in active deal environments and work closely with founders, venture funds, and senior partners on strategic transactions. Responsibilities
- Lead and support venture capital financings across multiple stages
- Manage deal execution, timelines, and closing processes
- Draft and negotiate financing documents and related agreements
- Advise emerging growth companies on corporate governance and structural matters
- Supervise and mentor junior associates on transaction workflow and drafting
- Coordinate across practice groups to ensure efficient transaction execution
- 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience at a sophisticated law firm
- Meaningful experience handling venture financings
- Demonstrated ability to manage transactions and oversee junior team members
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Admission to at least one applicable state bar
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth transactional environment
- Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
