Onsite: Monday & Tuesday | Remote: Wednesday – Friday

Duration: Up to 6-month contract

Pay Rate: $53.41 – $57.00 per hour

Schedule: Alternating Fridays off

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator III to support day-to-day administration of enterprise infrastructure systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux, HPUX, Windows Server, storage systems, and enterprise backup environments.

The position involves analyzing technical issues, interpreting policies and system guidelines, and determining the best course of action to resolve infrastructure problems across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day administration of enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux and HPUX environments.
• Manage Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Support SAN/NAS storage administration.
• Perform backup and restore operations using enterprise backup solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain server software, upgrades, and patches.
• Monitor and optimize server performance and system reliability.
• Support Azure IaaS infrastructure design, migration, and administration.
• Assist with VMware infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Analyze system logs and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with internal IT teams.

Desired Experience Below:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• EXPERT KNOWLEDGE: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and newer, SQL Server database administration 2012 and newer, administration, Backup/restore, and Linux administration. HPUX, OpenShift, and Windows Server experience. SAN/NAS experience a plus.
• Monitor and optimize server systems; install, configure, and support server software, upgrades, and patches; and develop server backup and recovery procedures.
• Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience supporting centralized backup systems.
• Experience supporting Dell/EMC SAN/NAS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Exposure to VMware infrastructure support.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure IaaS, OCI Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Maintain confidentiality for proprietary and personal information, Team Player, Problem Solver, Multitask and handles pressure well.
• Detail oriented, Project Oriented, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
• Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.
