Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Jose. This role involves leading the design process from concept to production, ensuring the development of high-performance integrated circuits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications, perform simulations, create layouts, and conduct thorough verification and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of analog/mixed-signal ICs.
• Define specifications and perform circuit simulations.
• Create and optimize layout designs.
• Conduct rigorous verification and validation processes.
• Supervise layout and bench characterization for high-volume production.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and educational background:

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development using advanced CMOS processes, including successful tape-outs.
• Proficiency in EDA tools and analog design methodologies, including design, simulation, layout, and verification tools like Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.
• Strong understanding of analog mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques.
• Previous hands-on experience in IC development, from definition to high-volume production.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in data converter (ADC/DAC) design and techniques.
• Knowledge of memory design or in-memory computing circuit design.
• Familiarity with AMS design and verification methodology.
