Under the general direction of the Assistant Deputy Director, the Office Building Manager IV in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), LA Metro serves as the Regional Building Manager over LA Metro, and is responsible for directing and supervising a very large staff engaged in the overall custodial operations and maintenance services for a metropolitan area which aggregate 2M sq/ft or more buildings in a major metropolitan area of State-owned and occupied buildings and grounds in accordance with FMD policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the overall administration and maintenance of LA Metro, and will plan and assign work of subordinate staff, and develop an overall master maintenance schedule.

This position is Limited Term (12 months); it may become permanent, be extended up to 24 months, or be cancelled at any time.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. The Department of General Services does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.
