Production Technician

Reporting to the Process Supervisor or General Manager, the Production Technician assists in a wide variety of assignments including, but not limited to: scheduling product runs, assisting in determining the appropriate tote-loading configuration for new product, authorizing work cycles and training less senior personnel.

Reporting to the Process Supervisor or General Manager, the Production Technician assists in a wide variety of assignments including, but not limited to: scheduling product runs, assisting in determining the appropriate tote-loading configuration for new product, authorizing work cycles and training less senior personnel.

-Schedules product runs through the irradiator.
-Assists in determining the appropriate tote-loading configuration for new product.
-Authorizes work orders for proper cycle and loading patterns.
-Inspects inbound customer runs for loading accuracy as outlined on the work order.
-Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies used by operations personnel.
-Trains other operations personnel.
-Must be able to perform any operations through those of Shift Supervisor.
-Ensures that all shifts are fully staffed.
-Assists with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

-High School Diploma or GED.
-Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in a sterilization environment preferred.
-Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
-Must be willing to work established shifts.
-Should be proficient using a computer and be able to analyze data in a database/spreadsheet.
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.
-Must have forklift driving experience.

Training Required

• Must complete all required training for a "Production Technician" outlined in the training manual.

Salary Range

$48,500 - $74,000 per year, depending on experience.
