Facilities Operations Manager

We’re seeking a Facilities Operations Manager with a strong foundation in maintenance and proven leadership experience. This role is ideal for someone who has grown within facilities management and is ready to take on greater responsibility in operations, team leadership, and strategic planning. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the operations of a real estate development company specializing in retail properties.
The right candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of building systems, a track record of managing large facilities teams, and the ability to balance day-to-day maintenance with vendor and budget oversight.

Title : Facilities Operations ManagerSalary: Up to 115k in base DOE + up to 15% Bonus + Benefits
Location : Onsite in Victorville, CA
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10–20+ custodial, facilities, and maintenance staff , ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts tied to facilities and maintenance.
- Develop and manage budgets for property and facilities operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct inspections, schedule maintenance, and coordinate with internal/external teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Serve as a point of contact for after-hours or weekend facilities needs on a rotating basis.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years overseeing building systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Solid foundation in maintenance — understands how the work gets done and can guide teams/vendors effectively.
- Leadership experience managing 10–20+ staff in facilities, custodial, or maintenance settings.
- Hands-on budget and vendor management experience.
