Join Walmart/VIZIO and take your career to the next level! VIZIO's Finance and Accounting team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing VIZIO's major retailer accounts.

What you'll do...

Processing cash applications for major retailer accounts involves handling debit and credit memos to ensure accurate financial records. This task requires meticulous attention to detail to match payments with outstanding invoices, thereby maintaining the integrity of the accounts receivable (AR) ledger. Additionally, the role includes the preparation of AR allowances during the month-end close, which involves estimating and recording potential losses from uncollectible accounts. This process is crucial for presenting a true and fair view of the company's financial position. Regular review and reconciliation of assigned allowance accounts are also part of the responsibilities, ensuring that all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

Weekly detailed reporting of AR Aging is another critical aspect of the role. This involves analyzing the age of receivables to identify overdue accounts and potential collection issues. The reports generated provide valuable insights into the company's cash flow and help in making informed decisions regarding credit policies and collection strategies. Furthermore, the role requires conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews and analyses of assigned retailer accounts. This comprehensive review process helps in identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, ensuring that the accounts are managed efficiently and effectively.

In addition to these tasks, the role involves generating and reviewing monthly sales reports, which provide a snapshot of the company's sales performance and help in strategic planning. Working with large data sets and performing financial analysis are essential skills for this position, as they enable the identification of patterns and the derivation of actionable insights. Supporting the General Accounting Team as needed, the role also includes performing other assigned tasks on a weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc basis. This flexibility ensures that the team can adapt to changing priorities and meet the organization's financial reporting and analysis needs.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00-$48.00*
