Rental Staff

Position Summary

Irvine Park Rentals is hiring part-time staff for a physically active, fast-paced outdoor position. Team members are responsible for checking out and returning specialty bikes and paddle boats, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, assisting guests, and maintaining the rental area throughout the day.

This role requires constant movement, working outdoors, lifting and moving equipment, and keeping up during busy weekends and holidays. Ideal applicants are energetic, dependable, comfortable with physical labor, and able to provide excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.

(wage range: $17.50–$20)

• Starting Wage: $17.50 per Hour
• Eligible for seasonal “Bonus Pay”: $2 per hour
• Must be available on weekends & holidays
• Must be available year-round (no summer positions)
• Position is part-time

Core Job Responsibilities

• Explaining safety instructions for bikes and paddle boats
• Cleaning and sanitizing helmets, bikes, and rental equipment throughout shifts
• Lifting, moving, and organizing paddle boats and rental equipment
• Assisting with daily operations of rental equipment
• Working efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Interacting with customers and ensuring families have a great experience

Requirements

• Must be comfortable performing physical labor during entire shifts
• Must be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, lift, push, and move equipment
• Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy rental equipment and paddle boats
• Must work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be available year-round (no summer-only positions)
• Must be available on weekends and holidays
• Must maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Minors under 18 years of age must have a valid work permit
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
