Job Summary: As a F&B Manager you will manage a team and range of concepts and venues covering more than 10,000sf of public space, 20,000sf of meeting and event space, adjacent to nearly 500 guest rooms in a fun, casual, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with a l company safety policies and procedures
- Provide genuine, warm service to al our guests throughout their dining experience, from greeting patrons and serving tables to suggesting and delivering dishes, drinks, and new menu items, to maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Attending to guest's requests efficiently and timely.
- Supporting al Team Members in the efficient and consistent delivery of daily performance.
- Establishing and maintaining expectations of a high level of service.
- Setting standards for cleanliness and on-going maintenance of our dining rooms and public spaces.
- Establishing and maintaining ‘pars' for various operating supplies.
- Managing al Team Members completion of daily opening, on-going, and closing side work responsibilities.
- Inventorying, printing, updating, and generally maintaining a l menus and guest touchpoints
- Maintaining various cash handling responsibilities.
- Conducting product inventory procedures.
- Assisting with various invoice coding and accounting procedures.
- Managing schedules, in-times, out-times, and breaks, including covering breaks as needed.
- Staying knowledgeable about our current menu choices, as well as any specialties or deviations.
- Facilitating and directing special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in restaurant management
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English verbal and written
- Flexibility is required. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Ability to train, direct, supervise and hold staff accountable.
- Leadership skills, including motivating, inspiring, and goal setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal ski ls.
- Time management and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic Cooking knowledge
- Barista experience
- Bartending experience
- Experience in basic Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Physical Requirement:
- Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch for the duration of shift (eight hours)
- Ability to lift and/or move and/or push up to 25 pounds without assistance
