Telematics Functional Tester
Role: Telematics test engineer
Location: Irvine CA
Duration: Long term contract
- Strong functional testing people with Domain experience in Automobile and Telematics industry required -
Experience in automotive telematics testing.
Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Knowledge of telematics standards (ISO 14229, ISO 15765, SAE J1939, etc.)
Familiarity with connected car technologies (V2X, OTA updates, edge computing.
Validate core features like navigation, media playback, voice commands, and telematics services.
Connectivity Testing experience (example, WiFi hotspot)
Infotainment system testing validation experience with embedded apps, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and other IVI platforms.
Telematics Testing experience to validate backend communication and data synchronization.
End to End data setup and vehicle preparation in different environments.
Embedded apps testing on HU, CarPlay, AA, Navigation, Voice Searche
