Mechanical Assembler
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Baldwin Park, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $20 - $23
Shift: 6 AM to 2:30 PM M-F.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles raw material into relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units.
- Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Works from product specifications and instructions to properly assemble the product.
- Uses hand tools and small power tools properly.
- Uses equipment, machinery, and materials properly.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
