About the Role:
Our client, a well-established property management company in San Diego, is seeking a Temporary Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across their residential portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has strong tenant-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Property Manager with daily operations of assigned properties
- Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with leasing activities including scheduling tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Track rent payments, assist with collections, and maintain accurate tenant records
- Help prepare reports, budgets, and general administrative documentation
- Maintain compliance with company policies and local housing regulations
- Support move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of property management or real estate experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
