Senior Accountant Our client, an investment management firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team and support both corporate accounting and investment-related accounting activities. Location: Danville, CA. This position follows a hybrid work schedule. Job Description: This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and operational accounting within a dynamic investment environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while partnering closely with finance leadership. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP Assist with annual audits and support external reporting requirements Perform bank reconciliations, cash management activities, and cash flow forecasting Manage accounts payable and employee expense reporting processes Support consolidations and accounting activities across affiliated entities Assist with investment-related accounting activities, including capital activity, allocations, and reporting support Participate in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling initiatives Support special projects and assist with various operational finance and accounting initiatives as needed Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field 4 years of accounting experience in public accounting, investment management, financial services, or a related industry Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software and reporting tools Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual’s skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
