Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in executing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe standards preferred).
- Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service.
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and kitchen organization as needed.
- Support banquet and event execution when required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (private club or upscale dining a plus).
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
- Line Cook position pays $20-$24/hr, depending on experience.
