Description:
- Our client is looking for a skilled professional to provide occupational therapy services to school-age children in an educational setting.
- This contract position requires an onsite presence in New York, NY, with a schedule from 08:30am to 2:30pm.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with children with developmental disabilities and be able to meet Medicaid eligibility standards.
Requirements:
- Provide treatment as outlined in IEP goals.
- Communicate with teachers and parents about progress.
- Complete session notes daily and monthly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory paperwork.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Conduct evaluations as requested.
- Maintain licensure through continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience with Autism/PDD and developmental disabilities.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York County.
- Meet Medicaid eligibility standards.
- Willingness to complete training modules.
- Ability to provide direct services to students with disabilities.
