**This will be a 2-year project for a High-End Hospitality Project. The company will pay for an apartment for this candidate if they want to work on this job and might live a bit farther from the job location. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing project budgets, creating detailed schedules and overseeing resource allocation to ensure optimal execution. You will conduct regular site inspections, review construction plans and specifications, identify potential risks, implement proactive measures to mitigate them and verify that all the work is performed to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities/Duties:
- Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
- Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Liaising with owners, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
- Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in construction management, or a related field a plus or direct professional Project Manager experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience Managing Commercial Projects of $5M-$10M+ is required.
- Excellent Project Management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
- Able to have positive experiences and communication with Owners.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore is what they use, so Procore experience is desired).
