Night Auditor
DEPARTMENT: HOTEL
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF HOTEL OPERATIONS
PAY RATE: $17.00/HOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be age 21 or older
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must qualify for a gaming license
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
- Ability to stand for long periods and have good finger dexterity
- Experience working at a hotel front desk required
- Experience as a night auditor preferred
- Must be able to work weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, and nights
- Process guest registration, including posting of payment due
- Close out of the night audit after ensuring all revenue is in balance
- Perform nightly backup of server
- Communicate to management and other desk staff all pertinent shift information
- Perform all arrival and departure procedures
- Provide information about the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and casino to guests
- Excellent organizational skills with an “I can” positive attitude
- Respond to guest concerns/needs in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain room status inventory
- Maintain and clean lobby/common areas as needed
- Manage proper guest payment methods and verifying credit card data per hotel standards
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payment requirements
- Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready before pre-blocking or guest arrival
- Answer the front desk phones in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
