JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Graphics Operator during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Freelance Graphics Operator supports studio-based programming, helping bring FOX Sports Digital’s coverage to life through clean, accurate, and engaging on-screen graphics that complement live studio discussions and social storytelling.

Working closely with digital producers and technical operations staff, the Freelance Graphics Operator supports real-time graphics execution with a strong social lean. The ideal candidate has a sharp editorial eye, excellent grammar, and a deep understanding of soccer, allowing them to translate live conversations and moments into clear, compelling visual storytelling.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role built for someone who thrives in fast-moving studio environments and is comfortable working nontraditional hours.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and execute graphics for live studio shows
• Build, update, and publish graphics that support live analysis, highlights, breaking news, and key talking points
• Ensure all on-screen text is accurate, grammatically correct, and aligned with FOX Sports editorial standards
• Collaborate closely with digital producers and social teams to align studio graphics with broader social and digital storytelling
• Monitor live matches and studio conversations to anticipate graphic needs and react quickly to developing moments
• Update templates and visuals in real time to reflect scores, lineups, stats, and storylines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 1+ years of experience in broadcast or digital graphics, live production, or studio operations
• Strong proficiency in Tagboard; experience with similar programs is acceptable
• Excellent written skills with a strong attention to grammar, spelling, and editorial accuracy
• Strong knowledge of soccer, including leagues, players, teams, competitions, and match flow
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Comfort working in live studio environments with tight deadlines and constant communication
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable hours based on show and match schedules
