OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION

Provide all hand and foot treatments offered by ASAYA "A Rosewood Spa". Cultivation and maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Appropriate speech and behavior, and excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Manicure and Pedicure license.
• Ability to perform all hand and foot spa treatments as outlined in the spa's Policy/Procedure Manual.
• Ability to learn, remember and perform all hand and foot treatments as outlined in the spa's Policy/Procedure manual.
• Able to identify a wide range of symptoms and disorders.
• Ability to assist the guest in selecting services to best aid in attaining their goals while at the spa.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all members/guests and club information.
• Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain Rosewood Responsibilities.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
• Two Years professional manicure experience.

SKILLS

Essential

• Able to perform 6 hours of service per day.
• Capable of performing massage on hands, arms and feet.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests/visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to make guests as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible while performing services.
• Ability to participate in a conversation for lengths of time without talking about self.
• Ability to listen more than talk; 80% listening, 20% talk.
• Ability to work in silence if guest does not want to talk.
• Ability to always remain calm centered and focused despite surroundings or personal circumstances.
• Ability to up-sell and sell retail

Desirable

• MS Excel and MS Word computer skills
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Massage Training

Pay

The pay for this position is $17.10/hour.
