Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II at Tri-City Medical Center locted in Oceanside, CA.

Tri-City Medical Center is a full-service, 388-bed acute care hospital located Oceanside, CA. Serving North San Diego County, it features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a Level III Trauma Center, and specialized cardiovascular, orthopedic, and spine institutes.

What You'll Do:- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments.
- Provide advanced support of equipment for direct patient care.
- Interact on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solutions.
- Solve organization-level customer service issues and complaints.
- Prepare required documentation and reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and services and demonstrate a safety mindset.

What You Bring:- A minimum of 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical devices independently.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
- Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: General Biomedical Devices- Nurse call, Natus, and Philips Patient Monitors, ESU's, Vital sign machines, Defibrillators, AD's, Telemetry, EKG, IV Infusion Pumps, plus OR, and Ventilators (not all are required).
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
