ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing client organization in the Fresno area. In this role, you will oversee core accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and provide meaningful insights that support business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional ready to take ownership of the full accounting cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing

Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting

Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities

Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures

Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to provide financial reporting and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

CPA license or active CPA candidacy strongly preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
