Azure/AWS L3 Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud solutions.

Lead architecture planning for Azure Landing Zones, including governance, identity, networking, and monitoring.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Oversee migration of on-premise workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.

Provide technical leadership across Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Data Lake.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security and operational standards.

Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

Define architecture blueprints and lead cloud transformation initiatives.

Migrate legacy systems and databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) to AWS.

Implement security best practices using AWS services like IAM, GuardDuty, and WAF.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Provide guidance on cost optimization, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.

Key Skills

Deep expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS services.

Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep).

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Strong understanding of identity and access management, networking, and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-prem systems.

Proficiency in AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation.

Strong grasp of networking, security, and monitoring in AWS environments.

Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless architectures.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.

Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
