JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary We are seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting team during a short-term leave coverage period. This individual will assist with core AP functions and help maintain day-to-day workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, but the ideal candidate should be able to step in quickly and contribute with minimal ramp-up. Key Responsibilities- Perform three-way matching
- Process PO and non-PO invoices
- Enter and maintain invoice data in the ERP system
- Monitor incoming AP email/invoice activity
- Make and apply supplier deposits
- Run and review aging reports
- Follow up on open items, approvals, receipts, and unmatched transactions
- Support general Accounts Payable workflow and month-end close activity
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Basic Excel skills
- Manufacturing or distribution environment experience preferred
- Must be able to work 100% onsite
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to site requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven accounting environment
