This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

If so, here is your opportunity. The Learning and Development Branch (LDB) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who welcomes a challenge. Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will deliver technical courses in areas such as Commercial Driver License Examiner and Non-Commercial Licensing Registration Examiner.All eligible applicants may apply. The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions
Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
On in-office work days, the incumbent will operate in a shared office environment. Work in a climate-controlled office environment in a cubicle. Works under artificial lighting, with exposure to computer screens and other basic office equipment. Will be sitting and typing for long periods of time. Management may assign additional in-office days as needed. The role requires some travel, including ocassional overnight stays. Examiner courses may require extensive hours outdoors in unshaded areas under cold, rainy, or hot conditions, as well as the ability to safely enter and exit both commercial and non-commercial vehicles. The position also requires speaking and standing for extended periods while presenting course curriculum to large groups. Additionally, the incumbent must be able to sit for long periods while operating a personal computer and lift and move boxes of learning materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Special Requirements

- Knowledge of Driver License, Commercial Driver License Examiner, Non-Commercial Licensing Registration Examiner, and Supplemental Driving Performance Evaluation programs
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience in developing or modifying eLearning course in Learning Management System (Blackboard preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
