Naked Cafe is hiring an experienced Lead Line Cook for our busy breakfast and lunch café. We are looking for a fast, organized leader who thrives in a high-volume kitchen and has previous experience supervising restaurant kitchen staff. The ideal candidate leads by example, remains calm under pressure, and helps create a positive, supportive environment for the entire team.

IMPORTANT LOCATION INFO

• Training starts at our Carlsbad and Solana Beach locations
• Must be able to travel between both locations during training
• Once fully trained, this position will be permanently based in Solana Beach

Pay & Benefits

• Training pay starts at $24/hour + tips
• Free meal every shift

SCHEDULE

• Typical shift: 7:00am–3:30pm
• 5–6 days per week
• Must be available to work weekends
• Day shifts only — no nights

Requirements

• Previous Lead Line Cook or Kitchen Supervisor experience in a restaurant required
• Breakfast cooking experience required
• Experience working in a high-volume kitchen required
• Experience placing vendor orders and managing kitchen inventory
• Strong understanding of how to efficiently run a high-volume breakfast kitchen line
• Must remain calm under pressure and lead by example
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a desire to help develop and support fellow team members
• Reliable, dependable, and highly organized
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Carlsbad and Solana Beach during training

REQUISITOS

• Experiencia previa como Cocinero(a) Líder o Supervisor(a) de Cocina en un restaurante (requerido)
• Experiencia cocinando desayunos (requerido)
• Experiencia en cocinas de alto volumen (requerido)
• Experiencia realizando pedidos a proveedores y controlando inventario
• Conocimiento para dirigir de manera eficiente una línea de cocina de desayunos de alto volumen
• Mantener la calma bajo presión y liderar con el ejemplo
• Ser un jugador de equipo y fomentar un ambiente de trabajo positivo y de apoyo
• Ser confiable, responsable y organizado
• Transporte confiable y disponibilidad para trasladarse entre Carlsbad y Solana Beach durante la capacitación
