Prior Authorization Specialist

Description

• This position is responsible for researching and processing authorization requests along with communicating authorization approvals and denials to providers, schedulers, and billing office. This position also requires data entry of authorization requests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Minimum one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Experience with medical terminology and various insurance products and requirements desirable. Word processing and computer experience required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fresno,CA.
