Founding Sales Account Executive
Our client, an AI-driven fintech B2B startup , is seeking a Founding Sales Account Executive to help build and scale its sales function from the ground up.
They are looking for a top-performing, charismatic sales professional with 4–8 years of experience , including at least 2 years as a closing Account Executive , who is excited to take full ownership of the sales cycle and play a foundational role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate has startup experience, a proven track record of closing six-figure deals , and thrives in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments.
What You'll Do
- Own the entire sales cycle , from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing
- Sell directly to banks, fintech companies, and crypto organizations
- Build and refine the sales playbook , helping define processes and the overall sales motion
- Partner with the GTM team to develop a predictable, data-driven pipeline
- Work closely with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning
- Help recruit and mentor future Account Executives as the sales organization grows
What They're Looking For
- 4–8 years of sales experience , including 2+ years as a closing AE
- Startup experience is required (early stage - seed to series B)
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing large deals
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Experience selling to banks, fintechs, or crypto companies is a strong plus
- Highly charismatic communicator with the ability to build strong executive relationships
