SUMMARY: Performs programmatic duties to include program orientation, eligibility determination, outreach and referral, and assist ESR/Case Manager with assessment, development of OJT/WEX contracts and follow up services.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Completes application for services form and determines eligibility for various programs.
2. Assists with testing, assessment and evaluation of customers, as well as facilitating internal processes as necessary.
3. Assists with the preparation and submission of training documents (OJT, WEX contracts, etc.) to training sites.
4. Assists with contacting training site, partner, and other agency personnel to ensure promptness of paperwork.
5. Reviews accuracy of training documents submitted by training sites.
6. Assists with the training evaluation process and reimbursement process.
7. Assists with retention services including monitoring at job sites, post-placement and post-exit follow-up.
8. Ensure that all necessary POSSE or other required MIS data entry is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent; and associate's degree in a related field or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years of directly related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Moderate computer skills required for data entry, Word, Excel, and other software programs, as required for the position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, or organizations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Employees are regularly required to stand and use their hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk: reach with hands and arms; sit, kneel, stoop, climb, or balance.
- Travel to other locations and outside training.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and ability to maneuver a dolly.
