$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Eligible Full-Time Physical Therapists

This is a full-time role with an assigned East Bay territory, providing in-home physical therapy services to patients throughout the region.

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our growing team across the Bay Area. The ideal clinician is patient-centered, collaborative, and committed to helping patients restore mobility, strength, safety, and independence in the home environment.

As an AlphaCare PT, you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or functional decline. You will develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy interventions, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, outcome-driven care. At AlphaCare, success is measured not only by compliance but by patient mobility, fall prevention, functional independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapy license required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Valid California Drivers License required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in the home setting and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and safety
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility strategies, fall prevention, and safe home practices
• Assess functional limitations and support patients in achieving independence goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in case conferences and care planning discussions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Communicate changes in patient condition and treatment progress proactively
• Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives

Work Location

In-person home visits throughout assigned San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay, and San Mateo territories

Pay Range

$65.00 $85.00 per hour + Sign-On Bonus
