Canepa is seeking an experienced professional for our fabrication department and machine shop. The ideal candidate works with limited supervision using various machines, hand tools and welders to fabricate automotive parts.

Job Duties Include:

Design, fabrication, machine work, problem solving for restoration and racing vehicles

Create materials list and order materials to complete the job

Determine materials and processes that were used to produce the original parts

Design and fabricate special tools to fit unique jobs

Machine the more complicated parts involving threads, tapers or tolerances

Machine parts requiring jig bores or precise bolt patterns

Document and file drawings for parts being produced

Skills Desired:

Minuimum 3 years Fabrication/Machining/Welding experience

Automotive experience in high performance and racing cars

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Motivated and fast paced personality with serious work ethic

Strong management experience

Computer skills preferred.

Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week) – temporary to possible permanent hire.

Compensation: Starts at $36/hr BOE
